A wonderfully eccentric set of four plates featuring imaginary botanical specimens, curious creatures and delightfully invented Latin-style names. Each plate presents its own fantastical “species,” including an expressive human-faced flower, turning the traditional botanical illustration into something playful, surreal and entirely unexpected.
